The percentage of cash rewards you earn from all the qualifying transactions depends on your rewards tier.
Tier 1 includes a rewards score range of 0 to 499, and from 500 points, you enter tier 2.
An additional 100 points will get you to tier 3, and when you accumulate another 100 points to reach 700, you automatically move to tier 4.
Tier 5 is the highest-ranking ti and consists of a rewards score of 800 and above.
Interest on credit card vary with the tiers with tier 1 earning 0.2%, tier 2 0.4%, 0.75% for tier 3, 1.0% for tier 4 and 1.25% for tier 5.

How To Access Absa Rewards
Cash rewards are paid into your credit card account, where you can redeem or spend whenever you wish.
You are advised to register for Absa online banking or install the mobile app on your cellphone to redeem and easily keep track of your rewards.

- Absa online banking
- WhatsApp bank
- USSD banking by dialing *120*2272#
- Self-service by dialing 0861 788 888 and selecting option 1

What To Redeem Rewards Card
You can redeem the cash into your transactional account.
You can also save the funds to an Absa unit trust or TruSave account, which will take up to for business days to reflect in your account.
You can redeem a minimum of R200 per redemption into an Absa unit trust account. This means that any cashless than R200 will not be viable to redeem to a unit trust account.
The standard Absa rewards and unit trust terms and conditions will apply for the transactions.
You can also redeem your cash rewards for prepaid airtime vouchers from Telkom Mobile, Telkom, Cell C, Neotel, Virgin Mobile, Vodacom, or MTN.
You can also get shopping vouchers or donate to the supported charity foundations.
