How Does The Withdrawal Limit Work With Foreign Currencies

The number of foreign currency funds received and the fees charged by the ATM provider when you make a foreign currency withdrawal at any ATM outside Canada are converted to Canadian dollars first.

The exchange rate used is set by visa international which is effective on the date the transaction is posted to your account.

The amount you withdraw includes a fee equal to 3.5% of the amount of the foreign currency funds received at the ATM and any fee charged by the ATM provider after conversion to Canadian dollars.
