Who Is A G-Money Agent
G-Money agent is an authorized person with license business authorized to perform all the Ghana Commercial Bank’s duties to its agents. Agents act as representatives of GCB bank in some way.
They provide different but similar services like the ones being run in all Ghana Commercial Bank branches located across Ghana.
Who Qualifies To Become A G-Money Agent
To know your status whether you qualify to set up a G-Money Merchant outlet in the name of GCB bank, you need to :
1. Be of age 18 years and above
2. Show proof of citizenship
3. Provide a work permit if you are a foreigner
With these needs, you can fill your status whether you qualify to become a GCB Mobile Money agent or not.
Aside from these qualifications, you will need to also meet the requirements laid out by the Ghana Commercial Bank G-Money facility to be able to register as an agent to undertake G-Money duties.
Requirements To Become A G-Money Merchant
Here are the requirements to become a G-Money Merchant:
1. Valid National ID card (Any of these is okay, Voter ID, Driver’s license, Passport, and Ghana card)
2. Proof of residential and postal address
3. Business certificate or license
4. Location of business
5. Bank statement
6. Mobile phone to carry out duties
7. Registered SIM card for G-Money operations.
With all these requirements, you then proceed to register to become a G-Money Merchant either by calling the GCB Mobile Money agent registration line or visiting the GCB bank.

How Do I Become G-Money Agent
Registering as a G-Money agent involves series of processes. In this paragraph, the process shall be explained vividly for your understanding.
When you visit the Ghana Commercial Bank branch near you, request to see the authorities in charge of the G-Money Merchant registration.
The registration process will require you to first sign the NDA form.
This NDA form is the business agreement from GCB bank and agent.
The business agreement form contains all that the agent needs to know about the G-Money business.
Information such as :
1. Company name
2. Agent’s full name
3. Company’s counterpart details
4. GCB counterpart details
Will be filled in this form.
You then proceed to fill the application form. It contains all the things to make your application possible. You will be required to provide details about yourself and your business.
Complete the account operator form once you are done with the application form.
The account operator form will require information like:
1. Organization name
2. Wallet number
3. Your name in full
4. Date of birth
5. House number
6. Gender and others
In short, the account operator form contains information about the operator and his/her residence.
Submit your valid company registration documents. This applies to all non GCB customers.
Provide valid national photo IDs of account handlers and users.
You can submit API documents for them to be integrated into the list of documents if you have one.
